Latina Mom Appeals to Hispanic Voters at RNC

Milwaukee, WI – Vanessa Faura, a Latina mom and the Executive Director of Moms For America action, urged Hispanic Americans to vote for their conservative values during a primetime speech Monday night at the Republican National Convention.

“I believe that the most important institution is the family; that the U.S. Constitution is the greatest document in history; and that every human being, born and unborn, is made in the image of God,” Faura said during her speech. “Today, I’m proud to be part of an organization that protects the freedoms and opportunities of women across America.”

Through her work with Moms For America, a nationwide network of half a million moms committed to promoting America’s founding values, Faura said she has seen a shocking transformation take place in America.

“Since Biden took office, I’ve heard one message from mothers of all backgrounds: the cost of living is making it harder to meet basic needs. Moms are reaching down to the bottom shelf to save just 35 cents. Grandmothers who should be enjoying their golden years are working again to barely make ends meet,” Faura recounted.

Faura – whose family immigrated legally to the United States from Peru when she was nine, and who proudly earned her American citizenship at the age – framed America’s current problems in sobering terms.

“Under the Biden-Harris agenda, we’re no longer living – we’re surviving,” she said. “It feels more and more like I’m back in Latin America.”
